Train 19 Educators from Khurmal High School on understanding the concept, the tools, and approaches to understanding and identifying the early signals of radicalisation.
Training Objectives:
The primary objectives were to:
● Understand general concepts of extremism.
● Identify why young people are drawn to extremism.
● Explore motivations behind extremist behaviour.
● Examine factors that contribute to the appeal of extremism.
● Understand pathways into radicalization.
● Focus on individual cases (micro-level analysis).
● Analyse global trends and patterns in radicalization (macro-level analysis).
● Recognize early signs of extremist thought in young people.
● Understand the context and history of radicalism in Iraq.
● Study the structure and hierarchy of terrorist organisations.
● Identify key components for designing a referral system.
