Target:
Train secondary school teachers from Kurdistani Nwe High School to recognize, address, and manage signs of extremism among students. The goal is to ensure a safe and inclusive educational atmosphere by equipping teachers with practical tools for early intervention and collaboration with relevant community stakeholders.
Training Objectives:
The primary objectives of the Radicalism Awareness Training for Teachers were to:
● Define key concepts of radicalism, terrorism, and extremism in school contexts.
● Recognize early signs of radicalized behavior among students.
● Develop a structured referral process while ensuring confidentiality.
● Foster inclusive classrooms that support reintegration of affected students.
● Promote collaboration with counselors, law enforcement, and community leaders to address extremism.
