Target:
Train teachers from Chamchamal High School in methods of recognizing and addressing signs of extremism to create safer educational spaces. The goal was to empower educators with strategies to identify radicalization early and intervene effectively, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere in their schools.
Training Objectives:
The primary objectives of the Teacher Training on Radicalization were to:
● Equip teachers with knowledge on extremism, terrorism, and radicalism, focusing on roots and youth impacts.
● Enable recognition of early signs of extremist thought in students.
● Develop practical referral systems within schools to address radicalization cases.
● Promote active participation through discussions and practical activities.
● Build teachers’ confidence in addressing sensitive topics like extremism and radicalism.
